Heights & Lights: A Stamford Tradition Returns Dec. 8!
For years Stamford’s signature holiday event has been Heights & Lights, which is a truly one-of-a-kind spectacle. The event features all your holiday favorites from Santa Claus himself to the Grinch and our favorite reindeer, Rudolph. Each of these daring characters will kick-off the holiday season with a little adrenaline as they repel down the side of one of Stamford’s tallest buildings, Landmark Square. Our friends will start at 22 stories high and will be lit up for all to see as they make their way back to solid ground. Let’s be real, these guys are pros at flying in sleighs, so it’ll just be another day for them!
After the repelling extravaganza, the festivities will move to the town tree at Latham Park on Bedford Street for the tree lighting where you can countdown to the moment the tree is lit with the rest of our community. It’s a really heart-warming evening of camaraderie and community fun, so whether you’re new to town or have been here for years, you can’t miss it!
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. so get to Landmark Square early to grab a good spot.
